CAPE CANAVERAL – Space Shuttle Program managers are meeting today at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida for a Flight Readiness Review, or FRR, for space shuttle Atlantis’ upcoming STS-132 mission.
The agency-level FRR is scheduled for May 5th.
The crew spent yesterday practicing spacewalk procedures in NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Lab.
During the 12-day mission, Atlantis and six astronauts will deliver an Integrated Cargo Carrier and a Russian-built Mini Research Module to the International Space Station.
The payload was safely installed inside Atlantis’ cargo bay on Sunday.
Liftoff is currently targeted for May 14, 2010 at 2:20 p.m. EDT.
